SILHOUETTE® Window Shadings

Imagine two layers of soft, sheer fabric with 2" or 3" fabric vanes suspended between them.

When the vanes are open, the view outside is preserved, if somewhat diffused, and natural light is gently filtered into your home. Closed, the fabric vanes allow you complete privacy while maintaining the look of softness and elegance that Silhouette’s create.

Available in a variety of fabrics colors including linen, crinkled, and semi-opaque and room darkening styles, Sihouette shadings also help prevent fading of carpet and furniture. When open they block out 63% of the sun’s ultraviolet rays; 98% when closed.

LUMINETTE Privacy Sheers®

Luminette Privacy Sheers® are a classic example of “functional creativity”.   Soft, flowing sheers gently envelope versatile vertical vanes for a magically elegant look. Luminettes draw open and closed like a sheer drapery.

When opened, you can enjoy a totally unobstructed view; closed, the lighting is gently diffused with the vanes are opened wide. To create more privacy, you simply twist the wand to tilt the vanes to any angle.

Luminettes are perfect for any rectangular window including sliding windows and French doors.

VIGNETTE® Window Shadings

As rich and sophisticated looking as custom draperies, Vignette fabric shadings transmit a soft glow from outside light while ensuring privacy where you need it. When completely lowered, Vignette also offers your fabrics and furnishings protection from 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays.

When partially raised, the shading retains the shape of the soft fabric folds. When completely raised, the shading is hidden in the color-coordinated headrail. The bottom rail is wrapped in the same fabric as the shading and contains an adjustable weight so you may fine tune the shading's balance.

Vignette shadings are available in a wide array of decorative fabrics ranging from exquisite Satin Weave and soothing Seersucker to intricately woven Jacquard. Plus, they offer enough colour choices to complement any decor.

Alouette® LightLouvers

Hunter Douglas' Alouette® LightLouvers combine the architectural beauty of a wood shutter, the soft fabric finish of a shade and the light control and privacy features of a traditional blind. The elliptical-shaped fabric louvers filter and soften incoming light. When opened, the view through is crystal clear. When closed, privacy is complete.
